Hi, Jh’ayona m. Stennies, rn
Maybe you're a nurse. Maybe you're a parent. Maybe you're a coach, a student, or a community leader. Or maybe you just want to know what to do in an emergency and feel confident doing it.
Whatever your "why" is, I created Crucial Pointe for you.
Because I’ve been there. I’ve stood at the bedside of critically ill patients. I’ve led locker rooms full of teens. I’ve answered calls when life turned in an instant. And what I know for sure is this:
Preparation matters.
Whether you’re caring for a loved one or leading a classroom, the way you respond in a crisis can make all the difference. But far too often, our communities, especially Black and Brown ones, are the last to receive that education. That’s not okay with me.
So I started Crucial Pointe to shift that reality.
I don’t just teach certifications. I train people to be calm in chaos, clear under pressure, and confident when every second counts.
Because saving a life shouldn't feel intimidating. It should feel possible. And it starts with the right kind of training.
