HeartSaver First Aid is ideal for school staff, workplace safety teams, child care providers, security guards, and anyone required to have first aid certification. The course covers how to assess and respond to illness or injury, control bleeding and treat wounds, identify signs of stroke and heart attack, and manage burns, sprains, allergic reactions, diabetic emergencies, and more. Certification is provided by the American Heart Association and is valid for two years. The course runs approximately 2 hours. It can be bundled with CPR for a full certification day.
